Dog Trainers – Obedience and/or Agility - no experience required, but experience a plus. We will enhance your training to meet our requirements. C&C PALS is a non-aversive, positive reinforcement-based dog training organization. We accomplish our training using both classical and operant conditioning. Our training philosophy, based on Animal Learning Theory, is: to get behaviors we want, we reinforce dogs with rewards they like, such as food, toys, & play, and we stop behaviors we want to get rid of by either ignoring them or by punishing the dog by taking away things the dog likes. Our goal is to graduate happy, well-behaved, and well socialized dogs. Only candidates that are flexible, team players, self-motivated and good with people and who are comfortable speaking in front of a small group need apply. Candidates must want to pursue this training philosophy and must be willing to continue to grow and learn more about how animals learn and how to become a better trainer.
